Just stumbled across this thread and thought I'd add my experience with a few programs. Probably the best one I've tried is Nitro PDF Professional/ ( ) – only catch is that it is a 14 day trial then you can't use the product any more. So it might work well if you only have to edit these things once off, or can do all the edits you need within the 14 days of installing it. Apparently Adobe Illustrator can edit PDF files (one page at a time). Infix also works pretty well, however it adds a watermark to the bottom right of all pages. PDFHammer ( ) is an online tool that lets you delete pages or re-arrange them – but doesn't seem to allow actual editing.

You may like to look at a converter that will convert from PDF to Word, then you and make any necessary changes and recreate the PDF document.
