You have misquoted me i said chunli in mvc2 can pull off combo's the ki crew cant hope to match and comparitively speaking the sf crew is way stronger dealing out huge amounts of dam while using small combo's ki relied on long drawn out combo's with difficult tack on juggles slappies extra links and so on that might have done like 40% dam at most unless broken and its too easy to do a combo breaker in ki so it would be just as easy in the vs game sf char would dominate fulgore would die from sagat ryu would beast over jago and juri would wipe up orchid and for fun dan and spinal can play pong. That being said i would still buy and play the game who wouldn't want another vs game thats a no brainer but i would imagine some serious changes would have to happen and in the end it wouldn't feel like sf or ki just like cvs didnt feel like sf or kof but a nice mix.
