Is proven top notch on the market today, they now bring you the Micro () version of it bigger brother. This is a perfect upgrade 'drop in' package to replace your current FBL system like on the Blade 180 CFX.Lots of cool features like self leveling/ recovery mode, built in flight counter, and Pitch Pimp to help with collective authority in micro helicopters. This looks to be a perfect fit for the pilot looking for that big flybarless performance in a micro sized system. New Firmware and software for your PC and android via bluetooth adapter to make your setup a breeze anywhere you want to be.
New Software/Firmware • • • • Features • Direct drop in replacment for Blade CFX180 FBL system. • Receiver support DSMX DSM2, Futaba S-BUS S-BUS2 PPM SUM, Graupner Hott Sumd, Multiplex SRXL, JR XBUS B, UDI (all connection cables included) • Self leveling/Rescue • Optional Bluetooth module with Android App • 3 flight banks. Great for trying new settings, optimizing for diff headspeeds, etc. • Pitch Pump. Really helps with micro collective authority.
• File share with fellow pilots. • Built in flight counter • Full PC interface for configuration. • Support for higher end tail servos • Excellent vibration tolerance based on hardware filter technology. • Piro consistency through high speed maneuvers.
• Fully tunable tail including tail precomp. Many people have good results with self level, it is basically made for the cfx180as well as any bird up to 450. As I understand the self level is a little sensitive to vibes because of the accelerometers that are used for self level. Vibes don't affect the unit when self level is not used. You can mount the unit on gel tape to reduce vibes to the unit and trim the self level in the software.
From what I have read most people see odd self level at higer head speeds like iu1,2 so most change the idle up speed a little to try to find the spot where the 180 dosn't resonate we don't know what rpm that is. There is also the belted tail 'lynx' that are getting good initial reports so far. So the smother the better for self level use. I run a skookum 720 that also uses accelerometers for self level and I don't have any problem at all with self level, so I think the system will work as advertised with a little effort. My ubrain is in the mail so I can do some testing soon. Will post back with findings.
