Sony TV’s CID is one of the longest running television shows till date and it is an understatement to say that we love, love, love it to the bits. It has come to us as a shock that the television show’s lead and senior actor Shivaji Satam who is more known for the ACP Pradyuman’s role has SUCCUMBED to heart attack and no, it’s not a hoax. But fans of this actor, please don’t worry, for this death is only on screen. Now, let’s hear the full story. The serial’s episode on December 26 will show ACP suffering from a heart attack and then subsequently passing away due to it. If that’s not sad enough, the serial will come to an end in January first week.

The reason for the producers taking this serial off air is because Satam along with Dayanand Shetty (Inspector Daya) had demanded triple their usual fee for the upcoming season. According to an entertainment portal, the producers were in no position to pay such a steep amount to their actors and they, unfortunately, had to close shop. The makers have not yet given us an official confirmation about it’s shutting down and we have a tiny flicker of hope that it will continue to air.
